Serena and Crew-

Thank you for your charming welcome to our family when we visited Fort Jones and Etna.

It was fun to be part of your podcast. Your work here is inspirational. I can see that this is an important part of the community fabric and your community stands out in my mind as a place where people belong.

That is a big deal, a really big deal. Belonging to a community that has honor and pride is something that has largely disappeared in America. People long for that sense, as you can see by the popularity of substitute affiliations- becoming avid fans of sports teams, loyalty to auto brands and clothing lines.
The difference between Scott Valley and almost everywhere else that you get involved in each other’s lives.
This blog helps to network your assemblage of individuals into a community and that is to be applauded.
Always a delight,
